SICTED Quality
The Integral System of Spanish Tourist Quality in Destinations (SICTED) is a project for the continuous improvement of the quality of tourist destinations promoted by the State Secretariat for Tourism (SETUR), with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP). In the Valencian Community, the project is led and coordinated by Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, through Qualitur.
Alicante, committed to quality, joined SICTED in 2013, with the Alicante Municipal Board of Tourism and Beaches being the managing entity of the destination’s project.
The “Tourist Quality Commitment” badge accredits and recognizes the effort made by the participating tourist services.
More than one hundred and twenty tourist services in Alicante are recognized with this badge and continuously work to improve their services, offer the best of our city, and ensure that tourists and visitors enjoy an unforgettable stay in a quality destination.
